Anderson & Boutwell Donates Bike Helmets to Local School

In addition to providing top-quality legal representation for injured clients throughout Tangipahoa Parish and the surrounding areas, the team of attorneys at Anderson & Boutwell are passionate advocates for safety and are constantly looking for new ways to protect members of the community from harm. To this end, after learning that children at Hammond Eastside Magnet School were having to take turns riding bikes and scooters at recess due to a shortage of helmets, our firm decided to step in and donate 50 helmets to the school for the children to use.

Attorney Ashley Anderson Traylor had the opportunity to visit the school and speak to the children about the importance of bicycle and helmet safety, emphasizing the importance of protecting one’s head from injury while riding. As passionate personal injury advocates with an emphasis on brain injury litigation, we seen time and time again how proper helmet use can minimize the effects of head injuries in the event of a fall or bicycle accident. Photos of Attorney Traylor’s visit can be seen below.

Our firm is no stranger to making charitable contributions of this type, having also recently put together gift bags with essential items for members of the community affected by the recent catastrophic flooding.
