Personal Injury
Our office handles suits that involve a wide variety of personal injuries. Over the years our attorneys have been involved in cases involving brain injuries, nerve injuries, amputations, quadriplegic injuries, bacterial poisoning, toxic chemical exposures and orthopedic injuries such as back, neck and knee injuries. We regularly consult with highly trained medical specialists to assist us in handling cases involving complicated injuries. This requires not only that we know which medical specialists to retain, but also that we be able to finance such experts during your case. When you go to court, you must be able to not only prove the fault of the defendant, but you must also be able to explain the nature and severity of your injury to the jury in simple terms. Your case will involve both liability issues as well as damage issues, and it will be up to you to prove both. Many injuries prevent individuals from returning to work and in these cases it may be necessary to hire a vocational (or job) counselor and an economist to quantify for the jury the exact amount of wages and benefits you will lose over your lifetime due to your injury. We regularly work with such experts and we will retain such experts on your case if necessary.
